Day 6 - Killin to Ardeonaig

 

There is a 500m climb on this route and then descent as well.
Leaving Killin, you climb up past forest and forest that has been harvested.
You then climb further up past the Lochan Breaclaich reservoir. To see how this reservoir and the pipes on this walk fit into the overall Hydro Electric scheme see this website.

Walk onwards on the path and near the peak of Meall Odhar you see this view looking across in the direction of Lochearnhead. 


When you reach the pipeline on the descent towards Ardeonaig, at this point you need to turn left and down through the fields. You must look for the yellow topped posts to navigate by.
